The board of regents for Western Kentucky University will meet tomorrow to consider raising tuition.
This is part of its proposed budget for the upcoming school year.
The finance and budget committee of the board of regents is looking at a 4.8% increase for full-time in-state undergraduate students.
That means tuition would increase 203 dollars.
President Ransdell says part of the reason for the proposed tuition hike is a state budget cut of five-million dollars.
