WKU's Confucius Institute hosted its annual Spring Festival this evening on the University's campus.
The crowd included many elementary schools from all over the area.
And those there enjoyed traditional Chinese customs including dances singing and a full gala.
This is the year of the dragon, and one of the main features was a traditional Chinese dragon dance.
The event was co-sponsored with a Chinese university.
"It's a line and dragon dance together with martial arts and folk dancing of china. This is a cultural exchange program with Hubei University and Western Kentucky University," said Yang Xian Lan, Hubei University.
After the events, those in attendance enjoyed a reception including traditional Chinese foods.
