PRINCETON, Ky. (AP) -- A western Kentucky animal control officer has been indicted on charges of abuse of public trust and tampering with public records.
The Paducah Sun (http://bit.ly/MLRpXr) reports the Caldwell County grand jury handed down the charges Friday against Abigail Tucker, who also serves as a police officer in Princeton.
The charges stem from a state police investigation into improper use of funds at the county animal shelter. Tucker has been suspended from both of her jobs.
It wasn't clear Saturday whether she had hired an attorney.
