A fire that gutted a mobile home in Perry County also killed a woman who lived there.
WYMT-TV in Hazard reported the fire broke out Tuesday night in the Allais community and killed 42-year-old Jo Ann Combs Caskey.
Michael Williams told the station he came home and saw smoke coming from his home. He said he broke open the door, but the backdraft blew him back out, burning his hands and face.
Friends said Caskey was a waitress at a Hazard restaurant for more than 20 years.
