A Kentucky man charged with killing a woman he sought to marry won't fight extradition from Ohio, where he's being held in jail.
The Lexington Herald-Leader reported that 34-year-old Jeffrey Jackson agreed to return to Lexington to face a charge of murder in the death of 34-year-old Quantina Reed. A friend found Reed shot to death inside her home on March 27.
A U.S. Marshals Task Force arrested Jackson later that day in a parking lot in Dayton, Ohio. Jackson is being held in a jail in Montgomery County, Ohio.
Reed's family says the day before her death, Jackson asked her father for his blessing to marry Reed. The family says Jackson had driven Reed's Chrysler 300 to Dayton.
