Warren Central High School Students Prepare for Jobs

"We have students that come in with their resumes. We have a handful of resumes over here. They're asking good solid questions. I think it's really beneficial for them and they are coming prepared," said Chris Kummer, Warren County Parks and Recreation.

BOWLING GREEN, Ky (WBKO) -- Students at Warren Central High School were given the chance to put their professional skills to use today.

The school's Youth Service Center hosted its second annual job fair, allowing more than thirty employers to review resumes and cover letters.

The goal is to lead students to part time and summer employment.
Sonic, Beech Bend Park, The Bowling Green Hot Rods and Meijer are a few of the businesses who interacted with students about earning a job.

"We have students that come in with their resumes. We have a handful of resumes over here. They're asking good solid questions. I think it's really beneficial for them and they are coming prepared," said Chris Kummer, Warren County Parks and Recreation.

Military recruitment officers were also on site, allowing students to participate in hands on activities.
