BOWLING GREEN, KY (WBKO ) -- Warren County's Fiscal Court approves the 2014-2015 budget, voting to spend more money but not raise taxes.
The county has allotted $1-point-2 million to resurface some roads and fix potholes in others. That's an increase of $200,000.
Magistrates also voted to spend $189,000 on this year's election. That's $52,000 more than last year, because of all the new precincts caused by redistricting.
And full-time county workers who did not get a cost-of-living raise last year, will get a 3.25% bump this year.
The budget passed with a unanimous vote.
