Plano, Ky. (WBKO) -- While many families spent Monday night bundled up to stay warm, a Plano family was forced to escape flames coming from inside their home.
Warren County Fire Officials said the blaze on Schwarzkopf Street began just after 8 PM. They said besides smoke damage, they were able to contain the fire to the living room of the home.
Some of the water leaking from firefighting instruments turned to ice almost instantly in front of the home in the near sub-zero temperatures. Officials said they planned to begin an investigation into the cause of the immediately.
No one was injured in the blaze.
