The waiting game continues to plague the Warren County Aquatic Center.
Warren County Fiscal Court granted the pool another 30 day extension to sign a partner. One magistrate warned this may be the final deadline or the pool will close for good.
Warren County Parks and Recreation Director Chris Kummer says there is a partner lined up, but it's more than just signing on the dotted line.
"There is a lot of legalities involved with that. We basically have three players that are involved. We don't own the facility so we have to make sure that both our partner and the Warren County Board of Education, that actually owns the building, that all three of us are on the same page," says Kummer.
Kummer also says he is confident something can be announced prior to the 30 day deadline. He hinted the partner will bring something new to the pool that could increase membership.
