Watsons Coming Home

After successful surgery yesterday, his 11-year-old daughter Kylie is also heading home.

MUHLENBERG COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) -- According to Calvary Baptist Church in Central City, Chad Watson has left Vanderbilt Hospital, after being treated for injuries sustained in a fatal house fire

After successful surgery yesterday, his 11-year-old daughter Kylie is also heading home.

The church has announced on their Facebook page there will be a homecoming parade for Kylie tomorrow.

They say the family has asked for those who want to participate to be at Muhlenberg County High School West Campus at 2:30 tomorrow afternoon.

They invite participants to make signs, bring balloons and wear their "Watson Strong" shirts.

If you don't have a "Watson Strong" shirt, they ask you try to wear something purple, Kylie's favorite color.

Chad and Kylie are the two survivors of a fatal house fire that killed nine members of their family last month.

The family says Chad is planning to tell his story about the tragic fire at a "Celebration of Life" service on February 23rd at the Felix Martin Hall Performing Arts Center in Greenville.
