Weather-Related Crash Kills Indiana Man in KY

By Associated Press |

A crash involving a sport utility vehicle and two tractor-trailer trucks has killed an Indiana man in southern Kentucky.

Whitley County Coroner Andy Croley told WKYT-TV in Lexington huge snowflakes were falling, impairing driver's visibility late Monday afternoon and Interstate 75 was slick when the crash occurred.

Kentucky State Police said 27-year-old Tyler L. Armacost of Franklin, Ind., was killed when he lost control of his SUV, ran through the median, struck one truck and then was hit head-on by the other. Armacost was driving north out of Tennessee and the crash occurred between the state line and Williamsburg.

One trucker had minor injuries and the other wasn't hurt.
