The Western Kentucky Parkway was closed for five hours last night after a semi hit an Ohio County woman.
State police say 26-year-old Sara Hatton of McHenry was driving West near mile-marker 89 just after 11:30 last night when she lost control of her vehicle, crossed the median, and hit a guardrail.
Hatton's car wound up in the westbound lanes as two semi's approached, one passing the other.
One of the drivers said he saw Hatton running away from her car as he tried to stop his truck but his semi hit Hatton's car which then hit Hatton.
Troopers say the impact threw Hatton more than 150 feet in the air landing on the pavement.
She was pronounced dead at Twin Lakes Regional Hospital.
