Woman Hit, Killed by Train in Somerset

SOMERSET, Ky. (AP) — A woman has been hit and killed by a train in Somerset.

The Commonwealth Journal reported the incident occurred Thursday evening. The conductor reported the train crew saw the victim walking on the tracks, but could not stop the train before it hit her.

The victim's name wasn't immediately known.
