A woman is behind bars after police say she hit a park ranger with her car.
According to a police report 34-year-old Jamie Johnson was picking up her teenage daughter from the Preston Miller Waterpark Saturday Afternoon.
The report says an officer suspected she was intoxicated.
When he asked her to get out of the car, Johnson accelerated quickly, hitting a park ranger with her side mirror, a curb and then sped off.
Police later found her inside the car in a grassy area off of Industrial Drive.
The car's airbags were deployed and one tire was flat.
Johnson's 14-year-old daughter was also in the car.
Police arrested Johnson but not before police say she violently tried to kick officers.
She was taken the Medical Center, she is now in the warren county regional jail.
Police say the park ranger is okay.
