A Glasgow woman is sentenced in Barren Circuit Court after confessing to setting a church on fire last February.
Patsy Pierson, 54, was arrested in March.
Police say she smashed the basement windows and door at the First Church of the Nazarene. Then used a flammable liquid to set it on fire.
Pierson could have been sentenced to three years in prison, but Reverend David Baker, the pastor of the church, requested she be treated for alcohol addiction instead. So she got three years of probation.
