Woman Charged For The Murder Of A Mother And Toddler

Winchester police say they have charged a woman with murder in the fatal stabbings of a mother and her toddler.

Police announced today that Lillie Stanton,48, faces two counts of murder in the stabbings of her daughter Danel Stanton and her 22-month-old granddaughter Kaydence Miers.

Police say Stanton is still being treated at the University of Kentucky Medical Center for self-inflected knife wounds.
