Local businesses are gathering to support the family of Lane Goodwin.
There will be a yard sale at Elite Auto Repair Center on Louisville Rd beginning at 9 a.m. tomorrow to benefit he and Austin Pellett, a local child in need of a liver transplant.
80 percent of the proceeds will go to Lane's family, and 20 percent to Austin Pellett's.
Organizers say they would want the community to support their daughter if she was in need.
"She weighed 14 ounces when she was born, and she's 16 now. She's been in the hospital, and if something ever happened to her, we'd want the community to come together for her, so it's like a pay it forward type thing," said Kristie Miller.
The Millers say any business that wants to participate can set up a table, as long as they donate at least 20 percent of their proceeds.
They're still accepting yard sale donations at Elite Auto Repair Center, and selling discount cards and t-shirts to benefit Austin.
