One local golfer just returned to Bowling Green with a trophy in hand after a tournament in Las Vegas.
10-year-old Canon Claycomb placed 4th in the Junior Master Golf Tournament.
48 golfers from around the world competed in the tournament. Claycomb was excited where he finished, but says he still has some plans for his future.
"I do definitely want to play more world events just to compare myself to other kids around the world and im playing high school golf and that will show me that even with kids that are older than me they hit it long but it's all about keeping your mental game," says Claycomb.
Canon says during the summer months he tried to play in at least 3 tournaments a week before slowing down when it is time to head back to school.
