LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Louisville Metro Police say a young man has been shot and killed in a city transit bus.
Police were seeking three persons of interest as they investigate the killing that occurred Monday afternoon at a busy intersection.
WAVE-TV reported the victim was in his late teens or early 20s and was shot while aboard the bus.
He was dead at the scene.
No one else on the bus was hurt.
Police spokesman Dwight Mitchell said the shooter boarded, fired at least one shot and got off the bus.
Police were seeking two men and a woman who were seen running from the bus.
At least some of them jumped into a white Chevrolet Camero and left.
