Eager buyers formed long lines today to be the first to get the chance to take home the highly anticipated iPhone 5.
"I'm an apple fan,"says Jasmine Goree who was first in line.
Here at AT&T people have endured the weather, long lines, and the early hours all in hopes of getting their hands on the new iPhone 5.
"I said I'm just going to hold my upgrade and prepare for the 5 and see what it brings. I think I'm going to be happy with it,"says Sean Daughtery, who waited in line.
AT&T does not release how many phones they have in stock so Jasmine made sure to be first in line to trade her 4S for a 64G Iphone 5.
"We got here around 7:20 last night and waited in line until 8,"says Goree
...And the feature she is most excited about.
"Most definitely the camera, it's got a really good camera with the panoramic view."
The iPhone 5 is thinner, lighter, has a taller screen, faster processor, and updated software.
"Over 200 plus unique things that are different about it. They finally got the front facing camera, the HD, the 4G LTE capabilities and you can facetime without the need of Wifi,"says Michael Gray, who waiting in line for his girlfriend.
But what makes Apple so popular...
"I just think Apple is a really great company and they know how to market their campaign,"says Gray.
And while some are new iPhone users...
"I wasn't an Apple fan for a long time until my buddy convinced me,"says Daughtery.
Others remain loyal...
"I've never been disappointed with my iPhone from the 4 to the 4S to the 5,"says Goree.
Analysts have estimated Apple will ship as many as 10-million of the new iPhones by the end of September.
