The women teamed up with the Bowling Green Police Department and Nat's Outdoor Sports to take in 1,300 coats for kids, 300 over their goal.
"Nat's was able to donate 65 brand new coats, siad Coats for Kids Co-Chair Erin Ballou. "And those coats will be going to kids who probably never had a new coat, so that's a great gift they've been given this Christmas season."
In addition to Nat's new coats, the public pitched in with "gently used" coats to help keep area kids warm this winter.
Big B cleaners freshened up the used clothes to be distributed to area non-profits to give out to area families.
