Kentucky Down Under Hopes To Bring Back Arts In The Park

HART COUNTY, Ky. (WBKO) - Visitors to Kentucky Down Under had the chance to come away with more than just a tour this weekend.

Tucked within the forest and caves was the first ever Arts in the Park. Vendors setup to show off homemade jewelry, wood carvings and other crafts. Kentucky Down Under says they saw a good crowd this weekend thanks to the nice weather, which also brought some more of their animals out.

"We had special events going on. We had a big bird show, we had our draft teams pulling the wagon around and giving rides to people. We have our new zebra on display and so it's just been a lot of fun," says Candace Forsythe.

Kentucky Down Under says they hope to build on this year's event and bring even more art vendors in next year.
