School is less than two weeks away for most students in Warren County, and many do not have the resources they need for their first day.

Stuff the Bus with Tony Rose from 100.7 aims to help.

The goal was to fill as many school buses as possible with school supplies.

Today they had some extra help with the Kentucky State Police bringing supplies from Edmonson County as part of their Cram the Cruiser Event, and the WKU women's soccer team did some shopping of their own to help stuff the bus with more than just school supplies.

The team says it's the least they can do to give back to the community.

"They got a lot of back to school clothing and even some sports equipment, and stuff like that. Tony is making the point that a lot of these kids whether it's P.E. classes or recess sometimes that's their only access to things like that. It's not just notebooks and pencils that these kids need. It's the whole experience," says Chris Tinius, Associate Head Coach, WKU Soccer.

The fundraiser started on Thursday and wraps up around 9 o'clock tonight.

Rose says they are still working on tallying up the total amount of donations.
