It's a summer time tradition that is making a comeback this New Year's Eve.

SkyLite Fireworks has again opened shop in Bowling Green.

Management says this summer was one of the worst selling seasons due to the hot and dry weather. Burn bans prevented many customers from setting off fireworks.

Now some of those customers are coming back to give it another shot.

"We have had a lot of our regular customers already come in here in the couple of days that we've been open and people did adhere to the bans and the respected those and some people do just want to have a little but of fun that they weren't able to experience during the July 4th holiday," says Amy Burge from SkyLite Fireworks.

Burge says they will keep their Three Springs Road location open through New Year's Day.
