Men with Ties to Al-Qaeda Set to be Sentenced in Bowling Green Today

The two Iraqi nationals living in Bowling Green that pled guilty to conspiring with Al-Qaeda will be sentenced today.

A Federal Judge will hand down the sentence during a hearing at the Federal Court in Bowling Green at noon Tuesday.

Waad Alwan and Mohanad Hammadi are charged with trying to send weapons, explosives, and cash to terrorists in Iraq.
