The Barren River Area Development District would like to see unemployment rates drop and help you get a job.

They suggest making sure your resume is up to date.

A BRADD employment specialist says make sure when writing your resume, write about yourself, but also craft it around your prospective employer.

Your resume should be clean, neat, and easy to read and he recommends everyone carry a flashdrive.

"My actual advice is to have a flash drive, create a digital copy of your resume and have it on a flash drive. If you do that, you're going to be able to change it around without having to change the entire resume," said Martin Elms.

If you would like to take the Job Search Workshop class call BRADD at 270-781-2381.

It's recommended you call ahead.
