Bowling Green Technical College Holds Transfer Fair

The Bowling Green Technical College hosted their Go-2 Transfer Fair Thursday.

Students were able to get a look at four-year colleges and universities that they may want to transfer to.

Questions about financial aid, majors and campus life were answered by representatives from the different colleges.

Since BGTC is only a two-year institution, they want to help their students earn baccalaureate degrees.

Jamie Parke, with BGTC says, "we have institutions here today that normally (students) may not visit in the course of normal everyday activity, because of the travel time. We're excited to have that opportunity and we're glad to have these folks come to give our students that opportunity as well."

The colleges and universities at the fair were from Kentucky and a few from Northern Tennessee.
