Danville is seeking votes as it attempts to be recognized as the most beautiful small town in the country.
The central Kentucky city received a nomination as one of the "Best Small Towns in America" for 2012 in Rand McNally's Best of the Road Competition.
Voting ends May 15.
Danville-Boyle County Convention and Visitors Bureau Director Jennifer Kirchner told The Advocate-Messenger that "our little town is capable of big things" and encouraged people to go online and vote.
The Convention and Visitors Bureau is encouraging participants to concentrate their votes on "Most Beautiful" town and for people to share the link with friends.
