As we build toward WBKO-TV's 50th anniversary this year, we're visiting with some of the familiar faces you've grown to know over the years.

Watch the full interview with Alan Palmer below, who was WBKO's News Director from 1978 to 1979.

He has a unique perspective on what he views as some of the most fun they had in the newsroom back in the day.

Alan is a former Bowling Green City Commissioner, and is now the Marketing Director at Greenview Regional Hospital.
