Celebration Of Agriculture At Chaney's Dairy
It was a celebration of agriculture Saturday night at Chaney's Dairy Barn.
Dozens of agriculture organizations setup exhibits and activities for the kids as a part of Ag Night.
There was plenty of food, ice cream, and you could even learn how to milk a cow.
Farmers put on this event every year to remind people how important farming is in South Central Kentucky.
"Agriculture is super important to Warren County and surrounding counties in South Central Kentucky. It's a huge industry, a lot of times people don't think of it that way because it's not under one roof but its a million dollar industry just in this county alone," says Joanna Coles from the Warren County Extension.
The Warren County Extension estimates that farming creates $200 million a year in the county alone.
