WKU's student run radio station, Revolution 97.1, hosted its third annual pooch pageant at H.P. Thomas Bark Park on Cave Mill Road in Bowling Green.
More than a dozen dogs strutted their stuff at the competition, which raised nearly 300 dollars for the Hildreth Animal Adoption Center.
The dogs competed in three categories, depending on their size: small, medium, and large.
"Hildreth operates just off of donations, I don't think a lot of people understand that. and the fact that we can come out and support our no kill shelter in Bowling Green is really an amazing day," says Marjorie Yambor, the General Manager of Revolution 97.1.
"We think it's an excellent pageant and we wouldn't miss it for the world and the weather is better today than it was last year," says Maureen Wilk, whose dogs competed in the pageant.
Three winners in each category and an over all Best in Show, all got a basket full of treats.
