Last Thursday’s Decades of Dollars drawing produced Kentucky’s first winner in the game. The winner, who came forward late yesterday to claim their prize, has requested to remain anonymous.

The winning ticket was sold in Madisonville at the Kroger store located at 540 Island Ford Road. They will receive a $10,000 bonus for selling the ticket.

The multi-state game, also played in Georgia, Virginia and Arkansas, has a top prize of $250,000 a year for 30 years (or a $4 million cash option). Decades of Dollars has been on sale in Kentucky since February 2011, when it replaced the Win for Life game. This is the third time overall the top prize in the game has been won.
