Send Tornado Confirmed in Trimble County

The National Weather Service has confirmed that a weak tornado touched down briefly between Louisville and Cincinnati.

The weather service says the tornado caused some tree and property damage Tuesday afternoon. The location is northwest of Bedford in Trimble County.

The weather service says 4 1/2 miles northwest of the tornado, downburst winds estimated to be 75 mph tore much of the metal roofing off a bar. The weather service says the roof had just been replaced following damage from the March 2 tornadoes.
