Bowling Green Woman Is Fighting To Save Her Trees

A Bowling Green woman is fighting to save her trees, but Bowling Green Municipal Utilities say they're posing a safety hazard.

The electric company says they must trim 10 feet on either side of power lines to keep the area around them safe.

They admit the trimming service isn't pretty, but they must follow certain regulations to provide proper service.

But the two parties decided to compromise.

BGMU says they will call you before they come out to your home.

You must let them know before hand if you want to trim the trees yourself.
