Warren RECC Offering New Scholarship

Warren Rural Electric Cooperation Corporation has announced they will be offering a new scholarship for college students.

Applicants must be Warren RECC customers or, if they are dependent on their parents, their parents must be customers.

The new 500 dollar scholarship is for any college student with a 2.8 GPA or higher.

Warren RECC says this is a way for them to give back to the community.

Rick Carroll, Director of Communications, says, "This is just another way we felt we could give back. Higher education is expensive books and so we just felt like this is something we could do to help.."

The winners will be drawn at the annual meeting June 14th at Greenwood High School.
