The one on 11th has been there for months. If you slow down for it coming down the hill, the person behind will almost hit you. It's dangerous.

Why not just dig up all the pavement and use oiled down dirt, that way they wouldn't need to fool with pavement.

I'm glad to finally see a local official sounding off about this (hope they don't start looking for 'whistleblower money' for doing this).
My girlfriend dropped the exhaust off her '96 Honda Accord over on Smallhouse Road last year when she hit one of the very potholes alluded to in this article (by Waltrip himself). Who paid for that? She's too nice--so, she did. $150 for a brand-new muffler system.
I do like the city's website (www.bgky.org)--you can go there and submit complaints there...but I don't see any improvements on any of the recent issues (old ones--maybe, I think they finally did something at the corner of Smallhouse and Ridgecrest Drive, which cost me some suspension wear, at least).
One more thing--what's with this headline!?
It could easily be misunderstood to be saying that local road funding is being 'cut'.
Jee-whiz, whuzzup with the language skills here?

I hit several of these this morning on the street in front of Firestone. At least a sign of warning would be nice.

It also causes a danger for me when I leave my driveway on my motorcycle! I live at the corner of 15th and Smallhouse and cant keep the gravel swept out of my driveway!

B.G. city streets are a DISGRACE. Like driveing on gravel.
