Posted: 6:15 PM Jun 30, 2012

PADUCAH, Ky. (AP) -- The body of a western Kentucky man last seen June 25 has been recovered from the Ohio River by workers on a dam.

McCracken County Sheriff Jon Hayden told The Paducah Sun (http://bit.ly/LHu9y7 ) that workers on Dam 52 near Joppa, Ill, found the remains of 34-year-old Brian "Jamie" Patrick Blake of Paducah, at about 9:33 a.m. CDT Friday.

Blake's mother reported him missing to the department on Wednesday, but said he was last seen on Monday. Hayden said the department was investigating Blake's disappearance, and pinged his cellphone about 100 times over two days.

Hayden said Blake's body was sent to Louisville for an autopsy and the cause of death was not known. He said the cause of death will help them to determine if foul play was involved.
