Toddler Pulled From Pool, Autopsy Results Pending

TRENTON, Ky. (AP) -- A toddler has died after being pulled from his family's swimming pool in southern Kentucky.

Todd County Coroner Bob Whittlesey told The Kentucky New Era (http://bit.ly/LM5hHs ) that sheriff's deputies pulled 1-year-old David Lee Hoover out of the pool Friday morning in Trenton, Ky.

Whittlesey and officials at the sheriff's office said they won't know the cause of death until an autopsy is performed this weekend in Louisville.

Sheriff's officials said they didn't plan on releasing any additional information about the death until they have the results from the autopsy. They estimated they would have those results Monday.
