Interstate 65 Ramps Won't Reopen Monday

LOUISVILLE, Ky. (AP) -- Transportation officials say Interstate 65 exit ramps in downtown Louisville won't reopen Monday as planned.

A statement from the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet says the contractor needs more time to complete repairs on exit ramps from northbound I-65 to eastbound I-64/northbound I-71 and westbound I-64. A contract gives work crews another 15 days to complete the repairs and have the ramps open to traffic.

The ramps closed on June 25.
