Send KY Health Insurance Exchange Starts Jan. 1, 2014

An executive order has been issued by Governor Steve Beshear, creating a statewide health insurance exchange.

Governor Beshear says he's been contacted multiple times to create the exchange.

Through the program residents can do comparison online shopping for health insurance.

The program is set to begin on January 1, 2014.

The order also establishes the Office of the Kentucky Health Benefit Exchange and an advisory board.
