LEXINGTON, Ky. (AP) -- Lexington high school student Jane Brady Knight knows how to write a persuasive letter.

It was her note to Bill Clinton that's bringing the former president to Lexington to talk to students who are interested in sustainability efforts.

The former president is scheduled to speak at midday Monday.

Knight, a senior at Henry Clay High School, says she sees Clinton as an authoritative voice for sustainability.

Knight helps lead a local youth sustainability council that focuses on energy conservation in schools and promotes sustainability to school children in Fayette County.
