Send Marine Killed in Afghanistan

The Defense Department says a Marine from Kentucky has been killed in Afghanistan.

The statement Tuesday said 22-year-old Cpl. Aaron M. Faust of Louisville died April 15 during combat operations in Afghanistan. He was assigned to 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, 2nd Marine Division, II Marine Expeditionary Force, Camp Lejeune, N.C.

The death is under investigation. No other details were immediately released.
