Chamber Hands out Business Education Awards
The Bowling Green Area Chamber of Commerce handed out business partnership awards today.
The awards go to businesses and schools in the community which have partnered together to help students learn more about being in the business world.
This year, orgainzers say they tried to focus on talent development.
"A lot of that is about teaching our students how to be in the work place. By getting to the people at different businesses, different chamber partners, students all the way from kindergarten up to seniors in high school, are learning about what it is to do business in Bowling Green and Warren County," said Jessica Thompson.
Some of the winners included Cumberland Trace Elementary, Bowling Green Junior and Senior High, Independence bank, Holiday Inn, and the Warren County Attorney's Office.
