A Special Investigation into Richie Farmer's Eight Years in Office has been released.

On top of all the alleged misuse of hundreds of thousands of dollars in state funds, Edelen says the investigation cost taxpayers more than $100,000.

Current commissioner Comer says his department has made a fresh start, and while the allegations against Farmer are worse than could have been imagined.

He now believes everyone should be audited.

"I was shocked; I was sad when I read it. Then I thought, what if every government agency requested an internal audit. We wouldn't have enough paper to report all the waste and misuse of taxpayer dollars in my opinion as being a Rep for 11 years in Frankfort."

Comer says they have recovered several items from Farmer since the beginning of the investigation including a widely publicized missing fridge, some guns, and computers, all of which he hopes to sell to help off set the cost of the audit.
