2 sides to a story warrants investigation, does it not, horse fan? Your word is every bit as worthless as the nosy people you criticize.

The first grass of spring has high water content and if this horse is prone to colic it could certainly colic and die there may be logical or medical reasons this horse is being confined. If the horse is in the barn and has been on a diet of hay the change of diet must be done slowly or any ruman type animal is prone to colic. If this horse is in the barn wouldn't you have to be trespassing and illegally entering to have access to be able to rub your hand on it? Perhaps you should talk with this lady before making a diagnosis. I would wonder how long she has had the horse perhaps it is a rescue situation or diet problem or medical issue. I am assuming you have the background and experience to know what you are accusing and making your judgment against her as well as having all the facts, information and possibilities before you accused her. You may be liable for trespass, illegal entry and possibilities of doing harm to her reputation. Just saw my thoughts.

Why hasn't one of the neighbors let this poor horse out so he can eat?
