Valspar Strike is Over

A local strike that started about a month ago ended Tuesday afternoon.

Workers at Valspar Corporation went on strike May 25th when they said they wanted better hours and quality of life, not more money.

A union representative said they didn't quite get what they wanted, but it enough that the workers approved the compromise.

The Teamsters Union Rep also mentioned, they have a lot of work to do building a relationship back with the company.

A company spokesperson said Valspar is pleased to have reached an agreement, and they're looking forward to welcoming all employees back to work.
