The Waltons Cast Star in Bowling Green

A TV star made her way to Bowling Green tonight to talk about her new book.

Former Walton's star, Mary McDonough spoke at the Warren County Public Library speaker series tonight about her book Lessons from the Mountain.

Walton also was in the show New Adventures of Old Christine and guest starred in ER and Will and Grace.

Her book talks about dealing with expectations and a life in Hollywood.

"While I had a wonderful experience, I also felt some pressures of Hollywood growing up, and how I handled those things, and went on to become an activist in Washington D.C. For women's health issues," said McDonough

McDonough will also be in an upcoming movie on the Hallmark channel called Lake Effects.
