Elijah “L.C.” (Pete) Lee, 81, of Bowling Green, died Friday, April 6, 2012, in Greenview Regional Hospital.
The Warren County native was the son of the late Frank Lee and Annie May Glass Lee and foster son to the late Johnny and Nora Craft. He was preceded in death by his parents; foster parents; a sister, Pearl Lee; a brother, Wade Lee; and a foster sister, Ivy Salmon.
Mr. Lee was a graduate of Warren County schools and retired from Browning Oil. Mr. Lee also served his country during the Korean War with the U.S. Army.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home, with burial in Green River Union Cemetery. Visitation will be from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. today at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home.
Mr. Lee is survived by nephews, Maurice Craft, Dewayne Causey and Russell Lee; nieces, Vanessa Lee and Imogene Kitchens; special friends, Fleeta Craft and Shelly Smith; and several great-nieces and great-nephews.
