John Michael Smith, 68, of Scottsville, died Sunday, April 29, 2012.
The Tompkinsville native was the son of the late WD “Bill” Smith and the late Kate Pitcock Smith. He was a member of Living Hope Baptist Church. He worked many years as a Realtor, owned convenience stores in Warren County and worked 10 years for The Trace Golf Course. He was a 1961 graduate of Tompkinsville High School and attended Western Kentucky University.
He is survived by his wife, Sandy Smith; a daughter, Susie Honeycutt of Hiseville; a son, Keith Smith of Nashville; a sister, Karen Young and her husband, David, of Scottsville; two brothers, William Paul Smith of Tompkinsville and George Smith and his wife, Mary, of Bradenton, Fla.; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be from noon to 8 p.m. today at T.W. Crow & Son Funeral Home. Visitation in Tompkinsville will be from noon to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Yokley Tribble Funeral Home.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday in Tompkinsville at Yokley Tribble Funeral Home, with burial in Monroe County Memorial Lawn in Tompkinsville.
