Jo-Anne Jessee Lindsey, 79, of Bowling Green, died at 7:05 a.m. Wednesday at Greenwood Nursing and Rehabilitation Center.
The Bowling Green native was the daughter of the late Henry Davin Jessee and Mary Emma Longstaff Jessee. She was preceded in death by her husband, Benjamin Anderson Lindsey.
Mrs. Lindsey was a homemaker and devoted mother. She was a member of the Southern Kentucky Guild of Artists and Craftsmen and a lifelong member of State Street United Methodist Church.
Visitation is scheduled for 4 p.m. to 9 p.m. Friday at Johnson-Vaughn-Phelps Funeral Home. Private services will be held on Saturday, with burial in Fairview Cemetery.
Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contributions to the Bowling Green/Warren County Humane Society.
Survivors include two daughters, Mary Anne Lindsey of St. Louis and Sue Ellen Lindsey of Bowling Green; three sons, Andy Lindsey, Ben Lindsey and John Lindsey and his wife, Melissa, all of Bowling Green; four grandchildren, Alisha Lindsey, Amanda Rosson, Lindsay Ash and Tyler Lindsey, all of Bowling Green; and two great-grandchildren.
